Flux spray machines are key equipment in the electronic manufacturing soldering process. Their main uses and core application areas are as follows:
I. Core Uses
Precision spray flux application
Uniform coating is formed on the surface of PCB pads through pneumatic or ultrasonic atomization technology, with the minimum spraying accuracy reaching the micron level. The selective spraying function can prevent non-welding areas from being contaminated (such as server motherboards, BGA chip welding), and improve the welding quality.
Remove the oxide layer on the metal surface, lower the welding temperature, and enhance the fluidity of the solder. Reduce problems such as cold solder joints and false soldering, especially suitable for high-density circuit boards (such as mobile phone mainboards).
II. Main Application Areas
Electronics Manufacturing: Pre-treatment for PCB wave soldering/reflow soldering. The technical feature is that the flux utilization rate is over 90%, and it supports Gerber file import.
Automotive Electronics: Automotive-grade circuit boards (such as ECU, sensors). The technical feature is a high-temperature resistant formula, suitable for -40 to 125℃ environments.
Medical Devices: Precision instrument PCBs (such as ultrasound probe circuits). The technical feature is that ultrasonic spraying achieves a nanometer-level uniform coating.
Small Batch Repair: Manual soldering of mobile phones/BGA chips. The technical feature is a syringe design for precise control of the amount, suitable for repair scenarios.
III. Technical Extensions
Ultrasonic Spraying: Solves the problem of traditional nozzle clogging and is suitable for active fluxes (such as those with hydrochloric acid formulas).
Automation Integration: Interacts with placement machines and reflow soldering equipment to form an SMT production line.‌
